This karan-sharir is the tightest sheath around the soul called the Anand-mai-kosh. As you cross the Vishuddhi and Ajnya chakras you finally transcend dualities and come within reach the Singular sense of self. The entire creation vanishes as if it never existed in the first place. The presiding energy here is the Shiv, the intelligence of Vishuddha tama-gun. The extra special pure energy of Tama-gun. The Kundalini has to cross all these three mandal, in which it pierces the 6 lower chakras and these 3 Granthi. All this happens within the Sushumna nadi, the thinnest energy channel of the body.
Within this channel there are progressively thinner naadi-s, Chitrini and Vajrini. Nadi within Nadi layout. This thinnest nadi within a nadi is also called the Brahmanadi. At every chakra and granthi this Brahmanaadi is twisted around itself in a very specific way. Piercing the chakra means the energy moves smoothly through these thin complicated loops without damaging anything.
Till now the kundalini was in the region called Dharmakshetra-Kurukshetra in the Bhagwat Gita.
Moksha sthana in astrology what does pluto
To navigate this part you have to strive and focus, take efforts. Now after the Kundalini crosses the Ajnya chakra it reaches the last section where the Para pervades. You have destroyed your sense of your individual self. Now onwards the progress is more under the control of the internal Guru and your greater self.
This space is also called the Bindu mandal. It is also called the Dharmakshetra. The other remaining chakras of the head exist in this region. This Brahmarandhra is the seat of true light of the self also called the Jyotir-lok, Satya-lok or Parabrahm. This means that in the Bindu mandal, the desire to create has not been expressed yet, both energies are one, they are not differentiated.
The merged form is the Reality. There is no duality. When the Singular here differentiates into duality, she starts creating the world while he observes. Thus these two energies are known as the parents of the universe. If you refer to the Bhagwat Gita , this Brahmarandhra is the abode of the subtlest yet tremendous aspect of Krishna. If you practice using the Vidnyan Bhairav Tantra as your reference book this is the abode of Bhairav. The non-dual, the Advaita. The same concept is discussed in Bhagwat Gita and the same is in Devi Mahatmya, and in both the backdrop is a War of terrific proportions.
War and spirituality are an odd combination perhaps, but it is War, you fight your mind. In fact every story-allegory in Sanatan Dharm aka Hinduism describes this same thing in different words. The world and everything around you is a mixture of the real and the unreal mixed together. Maya cannot be proved to be definitively proved to be real or illusion. Understanding then experiencing and transcending this is real Knowledge of the Self. This is Sadyo-mukti. Are chakras related to our chronology like one chakra is dominant or something? Also what is meant by opening chakras? It is a rather technical post so do read the hyperlinked posts, linked to the words in pink.
The Brahma sutra written by Shri Vyas-Badrayana is a very important book on philosophy combined with experience. It is the gist of all the Upanishad. Adi Shankar-acharya has written the first commentary on it. Later other Acharyas wrote their commentaries on the Brahma Sutra and started their own schools of thought.
Experience and thus Transcend
These several schools are essential because there are several types of people. I follow the philosophy of Adi Shankaracharya. I wrote about the several deities that followers of Sanatan Dharm aka Hindus worship. Every Hindu wants to experience himself as the Para, ie achieve Moksh. This happens when the soul experiences the ultimate knowledge of his own reality.
A bit of background. The Shri-yantra is the essential geometry, the energy of the manifested universe represented as a mandal. Mandal is a Sanskrit word which means, round, planetary orbit, snake, collection, whole body, royal company, a round plaything, halo etc. All these meanings can be understood in context of Prakruti, the topmost deity of the Shri Chakra, also called Devi Lalita Tripursundari.
She is a serpentine Kundalini, she controls the universes, the Shri-chakra is a collection of her subordinate deities who cluster round her in perfect geometry, they form her halo and ultimately all this is a plaything devised by her for her own amusement. She has created it and she is the Empress of the Shri-chakra. She pervades the Shri-chakra with her energy, you might think of the chakra as her body. They make up your body and also your mind. The individual soul carries a baggage of karma. You are the Eternal. The body gets perfect the mind gets stilled, the soul beings to realise its reality.
You get a huge boost on your way to moksh. But just never forget that they are not the ultimate goal. You are. In astrological terms, your Moon is your mind , your Sun is your individual soul , your ascendant sign ruler is your body, so who are you then? Sagun brahma is a product of Maya ie it is under Prakruti. The soul achieves the highest knowledge, Brahma-Vidya, and achieves final release from the cycle of birth-rebirth. It is not born again as its karmic account has been balanced. However it remains here in this Lok, till the end of the creation cycle called Kalpa-anta.
At Kalpa-anta, everything that contains duality is dissolved. Most people you see around you are doing this. Immersed in this beautiful form, they do pujas and external forms of worship. If you believe your source is Vishnu, you will become one with him and reside at Vaikunth. You have achieved your goal. These definitions do not apply to them. They are various aspects of Prakruti, they are aspects of conscious intelligence.
Even the highest trinity of Brahmadev Vishnu and Shiv are basically the three gun, satva, raja, tama. They are derived from and constitute Prakruti. She is very subtle, the Empress of the manifested. If you are drawn to this form of Moksh, read the commentary on Brahma Sutra by Ramanuj. I have skimmed through it, but did not appeal to me. Perhaps you might like it. You take on several lives again and again in higher and higher energies. This is called krama, spiritual evolution. Ayan means to travel, to go from one place to another. When a soul attains Vidya, the deepest knowledge linked to Sagun Brahma it leaves through the Brahmanadi and exits via Brahmarandhra at the top of the head.
This leads to Krama-mukti as Sagun brahma is experienced. This is also a movement, the Higher Lok is somewhere, the path of light, the Devayan, takes the soul there. There is going and coming. Krama-mukti is possible only in the Videha mukti format. Nirgun Brahma.
The deepest understanding of yourself comes with Nirgun brahma. This has no attributes, Nirgun brahma is beyond Prakruti. It is beyond the dual-nature of Purush and Prakruti. It is more difficult to attain compared to Sagun mukti as it takes a few steps more. It is transcending this fundamental duality of Purush-Prakruti and achieving the non-dual, Advaita. This state is beyond definitions. It is always described in negations, ie Nirgun, Nirakar, Niranjan, etc. No attributes of this manifested can be linked to it. Everything that is of Maya is discarded.
Adi Shankaracharya has always written about this as Nirvishesh Brahma. The intelligence from which all differentiations have dissolved away. This is achieved when the soul achieves Sadyo-mukti. This is the highest Kevala-advaitya. Adi Shankaracharya calls this state Advaita, Non-duality. Even this is a definition in terms of negation. It is not duality, but what it is, will have to be experienced. Prakruti herself sits in front of you in all her power to administer this final test. She decides if you are worthy of the highest knowledge. If you get caught in illusion and desires she sends you back again.
You will fulfil your desire and then try the test again. He can now continue as an Jivan-Mukt, it now makes no difference. He has already experienced Everything. Majority of people cannot visualise much less focus on a formless, attribute-less Parabrahma. So different schools of thought exist. All are relevant and necessary. This post is rather esoteric, so unless you have read my earlier posts it may not be intelligible.
There was this question. As my answer was too long posted it as a full-fledged post. Hi, what about the gods who are part of the manifestation? Are they Liberated? Is experiencing oneness with Ishta Devata the same as Moksha? My question is can there be Moksha in manifested universe as the deities are still part of manifestation. Shri Krishna says He alone is the Giver of Moksha. So where does deity worship takes us after a point as they are themselves not liberated?
We know the 14 lokas that make up the manifest.. What is your idea on spiritual heavens like Vaikunta and Kailash? Are they same as Unmanifest? Thank you. Rahu and Ketu are completely astral graha.
They do not give any material results on their own. Their actual results are almost completely astral in nature. They influence the material only through the other planets they are linked to. If either of them are placed alone in the 8 th house they perform very badly, this is because of their completely astral nature.
The 8 th house is quite cryptic to begin with and if either of these two are let loose here without any influence from the other planets the results can be quite devastating on the material front. They might give good occult and spiritual experiences but the effect on the physical personality and environment will not be good.
Also it would be advisable to be careful during their sub-periods within other planets Mahadasha. Keep an eye on their transits too, as they last for a longish 1. However these will be very rare charts. But if you do get such charts also go through the characteristics of the Nakshatra that he is placed in. In these cases, the subtle influences of the lunar mansions will be stronger and should be given a look.
However Rahu or Ketu in the 8 th house can give comparatively better effects if there is some planet with him or at the very least strongly aspecting him. So always first analyse this other planet and then the Rahu or Ketu. Rahu placed in the 8th house Ketu in the 2 nd house. You will feel dissociated from your family, its resources, the family history etc.
There might be an undercurrent of bitterness and strain, try to be patient and sensible. Loss of wealth resources or their mismanagement is indicated. There might be a tendency to be pessimistic and needlessly morbid. There is a good chance that would be some speech impediment or at the very least you will be misunderstood by others.
Try to avoid swear words and unnecessary sarcasm and criticism. This was for Ketu in the 2 nd house. Now for Rahu in the 8 th. If Rahu does not receive direction and beneficial influence from other planets this will be dangerous. Excessive uncontrolled desire to experience the 8 th is dangerous. If a properly directed and balanced Rahu is placed in the 8 th then he will pull towards the secrets of the mind, the tantra, occult, the intangible powerful magics. You will be allowed access into these extra dimensions.
He will also amplify the effects of the other planet who is influencing him and the effects of the sign and its lord. You can be really very good at all this esoteric stuff. But you will not be drawn towards organised religion, humanitarian views and will have differences with your Teacher-father. So try to develop your own life philosophy and stick to it. You can be very good at the professions indicated by the 8 th , researchers, detectives, scientists, surgeons, financial wizards, explorers, travellers etc.
Travelling might be extensive and more for pleasure than for work. However when accepting these from others remain respectful and acknowledge them. You will want to forge new identities for yourself, chameleon-like shifts in the personality can be triggered by Rahu. Do not over-reach.
You might suffer secret diseases , problems in reproductive organs, if you are a woman then in childbirth too, accidents, surgeries and diseases related to over-heating. Generally longevity is good, but then the other placements should also be considered before coming to a conclusion on the lifespan. Ketu placed in the 8th house Rahu in the 2 nd house.
This is again a very sensitive placement. If there are benefic planets like Jupiter or Venus helping out this will work well else there will be problems. You develop ambitions about increasing your wealth and assets and maintaining them for your use. Rahu in the 2 nd manages to keep the family connection intact. There will be a desire to be in control of the family treasures and using them for your own purposes. You will want solidity, material things you can touch and increase.
There will be intense desire for the material Maya but satisfaction can ultimately never come from the material. So do not get too obsessed about the gains and losses of the material. Accumulating money is good but try to put a limit to how much is enough and what ways are legal, keep your ambitions reasonable. Try to avoid criminal activities like cheating and bribery. Will have a attractive voice and face. The desire is to experience all the keywords of the 2 nd house. And on the other side, Ketu in the 8 th , you have no desire to change, to transform and to re-invent yourself.

It is said that you should listen to your consicence - also called as the inner voice, the voice of God. But often there are so many voices inside. Jyotish, or Vedic Astrology, divides the twelve houses or 'bhavas' of the horoscope into four groups, each Moksha final liberation — 4th, 8th, 12th.. I' m thinking in particular about the principle of 'Bhava Karakas'. Apart from the signs, in a personal horoscope the houses represented from ascendant Lagna are featured in the column 5 of table 1.
